New iTunes (10) is here

Well, it's in the Software Update to be precise. Works fine on my AMD hackintosh, no problems so far.
Tell me, do you also think that the new icon (and even the whole interface) looks awful ?

Gone Linux.

The interface looks fine. The icon is a step backwards. It looks like something that might have come from the XP days or from KDE.

Please tell me it doesn't require 10.6... I can't update because of lack of RAM

EDIT

Nevermind, just checked Apple's site. 10.5.x works

And yes, the icon is like jumping backwards off a cliff..

The verticaly placement of the window controls sucks - but I like the "checkboxes in playlists feature" & the new icon.

Fully 64-Bit coded App would have been nice as well - maybe in v11...

I like the new iTunes. Few fine features, few good interface tweaks - and I have to say that i like the vertical cotrols hehe And it seems to work a little bit faster.

They would have to rewrite iTunes using Cocoa instead of Carbon to make it 64-bit (there's no 64-bit api for Carbon), so I guess it'll take a while...

Gone Linux.

For all those who don't - here is the fix:

Code:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1
