That's nice
Support for AMD isn't mentioned on their forum (it says "iATKOS S3 Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Intel DVD"), but since the installer has option for qoopz kernel and VIA SATA, I guess it should also work for AMD.
I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks for the info

AMD Phenom II x4 810 2.6GHz | Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P | Gainward GeForce 9800GT 1GB | 6 GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM | 1TB HDD | 19'' Widescreen Samsung LCD Display
Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.4 (Everything works except Safe Sleep) | Windows 7 Home Premium x64

if you read through the release notes, you will se that even though they include the kernel, the dvd is NOT compatible with AMD...

I too was able to install iATKOS S3 on my phenom II x4 rig but upon boot I reach a certain point and bang, restart. "-v -x" gets me a little ways and without it restarts almost immediately. Adding "busratio=17" also doesn't seem to vary the outcome at all.

I am new to this so I am not sure why it is happening. I didn't choose a different kernel, perhaps I should have? What parameters did you boot the install DVD with and then after install what if any did you use?

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H
Phenom II x4 965
80 gig Sata drive for OSX with MBR Partition table.
ATI HD6850 (works with 10.5.4 and no kext)
