My CPU, an AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+, supports SSE3. Check my thread in the system specs category.

Any info on using the leopard Software Update service?
I realize to not update the kernel, but what about the "Security 2007-009" update?
have you updated that? Ive updated the itunes/quicktime.....stuff, but not the Security one yet.
What do yo think?

I also haven't installed the security update, because I don't like to kill my current Setup.
Everything works nice, so I'm very cautious. Is it going to be included in Rev.2, zephyroth?

Or is it not too necessary? I didn't spend a lot of attention, yet :)

Security Update needs cpuids to be applied.
Quicktime too.
They are both included in Rev.2

I suggest to not apply Security Update because it killed my Leo.

Remote Desktop Client and iTunes doesn't need that.

Ok, great thanks for that info Zephyroth.

security update killed me, too. Now i'm fear to upgrade itunes 7.4 to 7.5 (what loss!). Anyway, can i apply a language package and above all where can i find it?

Raldo,
For which Language do you need the Package?
I have a few languages pkg's, so I might be able to help you.

Hello Friends,

After a very long 4 weeks of struggle - I have got Zephyroth's Rev 1 Leopard purring on my AMD box. Here are the specs:

AMD64 X2 4800+ | 4 GB RAM | GeForce 8300GS (using 512 MB VRAM) | Asus 20X sata ligtscribe DL/DVD+RW | 130GB IDE, 30GB IDE, 250GB SATA HD | RealTek HD Audio | 3COM905TX Ethernet PCI Card | NForce Ethernet (Does Not Work)

Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work...going through the install process almost made me lose my 2nd Career as a musician :)

Timemachine backs up but does not display the nice spacey stuff :(

Next I would like to install EFI and GUID partitions...and eagerly await Zephyroth's Rev 2.

Cheers and happy new year!!!

Since I got a fully working Zeph release I'm here to help as far as my expertise goes.

This board is more like THE ONE AND ONLY LEOPARD AMD FORUM so I expect it to grow much more as soon as people start realising this release actualy works.
So guys, keep things very organized before it gets messy. Maybe add more color too to make things stand out.
