Watching the evolution of Firefox 3 is great - I think it's becoming an ultimate browser ... ;-)

I am a little shocked about the latest changes of philosphy of the Firefox Browser.
A long time ago Firefox was the cute little fox, which was fast, lightweight and very nice.

But nowadays, after I install Firefox, I see a huge aggressive robot as symbol for Firefox. What the hell? I don't like that. :-)

I always loved Firefox, but I have to admit that I prefer Safari & OmniWeb nowadays. However, I still use it ofcourse.

I also like the evolution of the 3rd generation Firefox. Using it on Vista and Mac OS X right now. =) Drastic improvement, web pages load quicker, and it carries smart search capabilities.

I also have Firefox 3 beta's as my default browser for both Vista and Mac OS X and beta 5 works perfect, faster browsing and full compatibility.

I've been using the nightly builds for quite some time and FF3 has seen many improvements up until this release. OS X integration/look and feel has really improved, though, there are some minor annoyances such as form widgets and lack of native OS X services such as dictionary and spell checker (I know FF comes with it's own). It will remain my second browser of choice after Safari.

if somebody is annoyed by the new input bar, try the add-on oldBar (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/6227). The web pages from the history need only one line now like in Firefox 2. A nicer Mac skin is AppleGr, it looks more like Safari. There are two versions, Delicious and Yummy, I prefer Yummy. The tabs are plainer here.

Does anyone know how to disable the security information winow when clicking on the favicon before the web address? I'm also used to click on the favicon when I want to mak the line, so this is annoying when every time the window pops up.

I wait with Firefox 3 - it has a lot of bugs in functions I often use, f.e. dragging links to the tab bar in long distances. The most plugins and themes don't work with FFX 3.
