What kind of experiences have you made with Crossover and its Game variant? How compatible is it? I use a few things that aren't available on the Mac and I don't want to boot in parallels all the time. Here are my tested programs:

CrossOver:

Audio:

Audioactive Player - fully working
MP3Gain - fully working

Graphics:

Aura 2.5b - works, but doesn't save preferences
TVPaint Animation Pro 8.5.4 - fully working

Tools:

Idoswin Pro - fully working
UltraISO - works, but you can't burn

Crossover Games:

Indiana Jones 5 - works with slight gfx errors
Monkey Island 3 - fully working
TrackMania Nations Forever - fully working
Need for Speed 5 Porsche - DirectX failure

I have tested Guitar Pro 5.2 and it fully works. I want to try Age Of Empires Gold and Rise Of Nations but I think they will work.

I got a question. Should crossover be able to open .exe files?

It depends on the program, some don't need extra files to work (like winrar, it has all the files it needs in the same folder) but some needs to install and uses system dlls and running services for licencing and other stuff, so these needs to be installed and that's the main problem.
But in general yes, it should open exe files.

What I use: winrar, utorrent, winamp (not so good), ultraiso, deep exploration (slow but usable)
What I want: 3ds max 2008, vray, solid edge
