Im going to try building a new AMD platform osx86 and got a really good deal on a XFX GeForce 8200 motherboard (nForceŽ 8200) (MI-A78S-8209). Has anyone had any experiences working with these? I have not been able to find anything with extensive searching. I have built a few intel system without issue using specific parts found in some of this boards discussions. Hope someone can shed some light. Here is the mother board http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/products/motherboards/geforce%20amdseries/GeForce%208200.aspx

Hm, difficult to say, it seems to be rather new. Onboard gfx is in the most cases not very good supported. I must say, I never heard from this manufacturer ever. The specifications aren't very well described on the web page, these (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3939759&Sku=P450-9120) are a bit better.

I actually found that it has a nForce 780A chipset, Audio is Realtek ALC 888. I'll search for more infos.

There are some Phenom threads in here, take a look there too.

i have had a few XFX products and been quite pleased with them, seems like this would be a great board to couple with a black edition and run dual bios. Thanks for the help naquaada.
