ASU should patch it fine, quicktime updates are normally very low risk. Worst case scenario you can always run Marvins to resolve any problems. :)

Can someone upload the patched Quicktime Update 7.5.5 for me ?
AUS encountered Apple script Error and waited for "moving to Temp fold" forever when I modified the download (I guess it dose NOT got patched yet ? )so I had to terminate ASU and removed the QT*.tar form "-TEMP-" folder.
If someone be so kind as to upload it to Mediafire, I will be really grateful!
Thanks in advance!!

Hey I used your patched quicktime installer nfoav8or and it kinda works but I have a problem.
The program quicktime opens and it works in itunes but lets say I go to the apple website and try and view a video which uses quicktime to view then it doesn't work. Also It doesn't work if I have a video on my desktop that im trying to view. It crashes.

did Quicktime work for you before you updated it? This is a touchy program with Hacintoshes. I've had hit or miss problems when I've updated in the past, but that installer I had posted (previously, before the edit) has worked on my machine through three test reinstalls. I hope we can find a solution but for now I am going to have to go do some research on the topic.
Does this problem sound familiar to anyone else?

Yeah quicktime worked before but it wouldn't work in itunes because I needed to update to use quicktime in the new itunes. Thank you for checking this out =)
By the way I don't blame you for this at all because I do know the risks of installing anything on an AMD macine =)
