Hello everybody
I just tried to install Mac OS X Zephyroth on my computer but the only problem i've got is to erase a partition to install OS X. It is telling me : error input output or something like that. i tried many kind of partitions like : Fat 32, HFS+, NTFS, ext2 and 3 etc but i can't install without erase them before. What can I do to resolve the input output problem ?

sorry for my bad english

Tell us more about your hardware, your drives, and which version of Zephyroth you're trying to install. The MORE information you provide, the more likely someone will be able to provide useful help...

(generally, drive problems arise if your motherboard chipset is not well supported. There are workarounds and other distributions, so provide as much information as possible.)

Full spec at http://zaproszenia.friko.pl/Report.htm
I tried leo4allv3 and leo4all v4.1 with the same result.
Thanks in advance for help.

AFAIK this issue normally occurs when installing to a sata drive.

The first thing you guys could try is switch the sata mode to legacy ide in your bios. If this dosen't work and you've got an ide drive handy, try installing to that then use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy the drive to your sata.

@ maati1980, According to the release notes for Leo4All4.1 you should select the Nforce67 chipset drivers when installing for the MCP67 chipset. I would think this would have been injected into the dvd already so i'm not sure why you can't format the partition. You should be able to get the install package out of the install disc for this if you need it.
