I just installed iDeneb 10.5.5 and everything seems to work fine except that i have No Quartz Extreme (Transparent Menu Bar). I tried to install using the driver on the Distro DVD, No Q/E. I tried Diabolik's X1300 Installer. My system wouldn't boot after that. I tried the NatitX1300. My system wouldnt boot after that. Just blue screen.

I was running Kalyway 10.5.2 and i find myself a bit stuck because this is THE ONLY Distro i can find that my graphics card fully works on. I've Tried Zephyroth And Leo4All as well. I also tried updating my Kalyway install using
ASU ( I've got an amd machine by the way) but after trying to update to even 10.5.3 my machine stopped booting. I really need some help here. Thanks:)

If you can't get the full support of the hardware with the software supplied with those disks, go grab your Kalyway disk after you've installed one of the newer ones and go to the /System/Installation/Packages/ folder on the DVD and find the X1600 package. run it then repair your permissions in the Extensions folder by opening up Terminal:
sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/
and reboot with -f

Thank you!

I did what you said and used the package from the kalyway disk. Works like a charm :)

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to find the x1600 package there.
