View Full Version : Native Tiger install ?????

Does anyone know of a Tiger install disc for intel pc, I have an old p3 laptop & I wanted to see if I can get tiger installed on it. If anyone knows of a good install disc that works can they please let me know ??

Any replies to this thread should be done via PM if you are going to share a link.

As for actually performing a "native" install to a non-Apple computer, good luck... personally I would use the native disk to create a patched install disc to include all the necessary files and fixes to make it work right away... But thats just me.

It can NOT be done cause P3 processors do not support required SSE2 instructions. They are only SSE capable. So you'll need at least P4/equivalent celeron or AMD, SSE2 capable at least.

Decided to try a few linux distros instead to revive the old girl.
Seems a better option, thanks anyway guys.
