Hey everybody, I just recently installed lawless ppc 10.5.4 on my pc. I have always used my 2wire wireless usb adapter 802.11g for wireless internet connection on windows xp. For some reason on leopard it won't even be recognized. Is there any specific place i can get a driver for it? Thanks

in order to know if the adapter works, you need to know what the chip manufacturer is for that adapter. I'm looking it up now, but being unsuccessful in finding the required info. Its too bad we can't use ndiswrapper like in linux...

I don't know if this site will be of help but I'm trying to go through the motions of acquiring it much like you should:

Let me know if this leads anywhere.

well, since i can't really find out what to do with this usb adapter, can someone please tell me what usb adapter WILL work on lawless ppc 10.5.4? All i want is internet connection that doesn't involve LAN. Thanks, everyone

I don't know specifics for USB but I'm using a cheap netgear WG311v2 with the Broadcom chipset so I'm able to use it with the Broadcom Fix in that distro.

For USB, you might try the BCM4320 (also a broadcom chipset) and is USB 2.0 802.11g certified. Should work fine.

I've also gotten some support in the past through some linksys cards. Just make sure you review their chipsets and then look inside the /System/Installation/Packages/ folder in the Lawless distro to find out what support you can install right away. otherwise ask for help in finding something specific (just remember that messages via PM are the only way to get direct links to files as we cannot actively show our breach of the Apple Copyright).
