Hi, I have excactly only one problem with my new Hackintosh install; Toast Titanium simply crashes on the spot after being opened for the first time.

I am running LawlessPPC 10.5.4 beautifully on my machine, but with no graphics kext only. Can it be that Toast needs QE? CI is running in pure software, but I somehow doubt that could cause the trouble. Patching with the AMD Patchewr 0.2 does not work either.

If anyone could offer some advice, I'd be very happy. :)

Hi,
I am not absolutely sure what is causing the crash. When i had zephyroth's 10.5.2 installed i couldn't use toast either, nor any other burning program. As Lawless 10.5.4 is based on the same distro, zephs 10.5.2, i think that's why there is broken burning support.

Can guys running the same distro confirm this? Also, is there a possible fix for it?

I am running leo4all 10.5.2 updated to 10.5.5. No such problems here.

I remember reading somewhere that Toast does indeed require full QE/CI to run. If you can get your graphics card working fully and toast still doesn't launch, then this thread (http://www.infinitemac.com/f5/solution-toast-9-and-popcorn-3-wont-launch-t821/) might have the fix - though i'm not sure if this is still valid for the LawlessPPC distro.

thats unusual, i had the same problem when i used Zeph's updates to go from 10.5.2 Leo4All to 10.5.5 but when i downgraded again it all worked fine.
