Help with Wireless Network Please

Hey everybody. I recently installed Lawless PPC for my AMD Athlon 64 X2 system and I have everything working instead of my internet. I have a 2Wire USB adapter but it doesn't work and I can't find a driver for it. I also tried my WG311v3 Netgear PCI card and it didn't work either. I was hoping that everyone running OSx86 and using wireless internet could post what adapter or card they are using to access the internet. That would help me a lot. Thanks!

You already have a thread (worded exactly the same) devoted to this. I'm closing the rest of them with a post pointing to this one. Please place your threads in this thread from now on. I know I've personally tried to help with this (plus given you ideas on some known-to-work hardware). I'm surprised no one else has any ideas right off the bat.

BTW- I also started out with this kind of problem... I have a DLINK DWA-130 USB 802.11n dongle that I've tried to get to work for ages... no luck so I bought a cheap netgear WG311v2 with a broadcom chip and it works OTB without any special "fixes"... sorry to say this, but if you can't find any open drivers or general or specific kernel extensions for it then you are out of luck with that hardware.

I have been using 3Com usb adapter(3CRUSB10075), with a Zydas ZD1211 driver... and it was working almost perfectly... but then I found out that it was killing the fan control on my machine(Acer Aspire 5104wlmi hackbook), everytime I went online.
As overheating was my nr.1 problem, I have now stopped using it(and the overheating problem is no longer a problem)
But perhaps that is just a problem on my laptop...

So now I am looking for another solution. Perhaps a cardbus wifi, or a USB solution which uses a better driver.

So, I would love to hear what you guys here are using...
