First of all to tell you that I'm not speak english very well.
I installed leo4allv3 (10.5.2) and it was the unique distro with stable system.
Yesterday I decided to upgrade with asu. Upgrade was fine and now I have 10.5.5
But today when I ran asu it appears to have more files to upgrade. Upgraded all files exept 2: AirPort Extreme Update and Java For Mac OS X.
Airport when I want to upgrade it appears message:
AppleScript Error</P><P>sh: line 2: 1.0*Convert: syntax error: invalid arithmetic operator (error token is *.0*Convert")</P><P>(127)
File Java For Mac OS X when I want upgrade it, staled in this wave with blue and white lines and above this the message Preparing download... and nothin else for 5-10 minutes when I stop it.
Can I do something about that; Airport is for wireless connection; If I am right, it doesn't matter because I have wired connection.
The second question is about microphone. I have sound with apple azaliaaudio.kext but microphone it doesn't work. What can I do?
And the hardest queston is about pci tv card. I have kworld plus tv lite and it uses philips saa7134. But in system profiler doesn't appear something. I know that is very hard to recognize pci tv card, but I want to ask you if I have any chance to work. It's the only reason I use windows Vista.
Thank you for your time.

The only thing I can answer at this time is your first question...
ASU did this for me as well so my workaround was to download the updates from Apple and place the .pkg files into my downloads folder then run ASU and deselect these updates (but select a different update) then run it. If you don't have another update to run, then use the new AMD Patcher with the .pkg files that you've placed in your downloads folder and drag them onto the app. restart, then rerun ASU... it should be up to date.

Thank you very much for your answer even I'm late.
Except these two updates, I haven't any other.
When you write to download this updates from Apple you think from apple site? Because in Sofware Update there isn't option only downloading.
They are first days I'm using Leopard, I don't know about new AMD patcher. Do you think for something newer than asu? And where can I download it?

AMD Software Update is the best option for AMD users at this moment. Yes, you'll get those downloads straight from the Apple site then open the image up and place the installer package in the downloads folder... then when you run AMD Software Update you can deselect the ones you placed in the Downloads folder and they will be recreated with ASU and patched accordingly. If you look through the forum you'll find the web link for the download still active.

I patched these 2 files with amd patcher (0.3) and now they are in my Download folder (with log files). What's next? Can I install them like any other .pkg file (I mean with double klick, when they are already patched), or should I follow any other procedure?

read my explanation above in post #2... I used ASU to do the patching and the installing.

First of all, excuse me for my bad english but I think that something didn't right work.
If you have time to read what did I do. Of course I read, maybe, 20 times you post no. 2, but things isn't same to me.
First I downloaded amd patcher (ver. 0.3). In the first run of the patcher wants to select folder for patced files. Because you said about download folders, I put this folder. But, I had already put in downloads folder .pkg's I had downloaded from apple site. When patched two file, I had an error about script (sorry I don't remember exactly). Then put these files to Desktop and run again patcher. When it finished patcher, created these 2 patched files in Downloads folder. After that I rebooted my system and then I ran asu and I had the same behaviour like before when I didn't use amd patcher.
I think the problem was I put files in Download folders and select in patcher the same folder. But in the second attempt, when I deleted from downlods folder and I had it in Desktop, again after patching hadn't results I expected.

AMD Patcher is not the same as AMD Software Update (ASU for short). make sure you are using the right application. best of luck.

I know that are different programs and I have both. I can is to download 2 update files from apple site and copy installers in Downolads. Then, I run amd patcher and created patched files in Desktop, but again with asu had the same result. After that I installed iwork08. And then in asu i had to update pages (and iwork other programs, I don't remember names). I selected only pages and after that rebooted. Again I ran asu and I saw that I had any of 2 files to update and when I installed other updates i had i appears message that my system is up to date. I think no need to do something else. Very nice!
And when would be 10.5.6? I heart for this weekend. Is it true? :)
Thank you one more time for your time and your information.
