*FIXED! For now anyway*

I fully updated my 10.5.5 and found no problems, except one that may have occurred after installing the Airport updates.
Time Machine doesn't see my backup drive anymore, even though it's connected and working fine.:'(
*facepalms*
The only solutions I found involved replacing IONetworkingFamily.kext and possibly knocking out the internet connection. And the solutions are over a year old.
Can anyone tell me what to do to get Time Machine working again? Pretty please?:-/

EDIT: Naturally, I post and then I find out the fix is what I already saw. I guess the newer IONetworkingFamily.kext needs to be patched for Time Machine. If anyone else has this problem, simply reinstall the old IONetworkingFamily.kext and Time Machine will return.

what is the point of using Time Machine though? unless you use it for media files its a really bad backup program for HackMac's everytime i try to use it to restore my system, firstly it doesnt have the right time stamps on the backups and it also takes ages to restore, i just use the Disk Image function in the Disk Utility it works much better and faster, with the exception that it cant make schedualed images..
