Is this the newest release and also will this work for my hard ware

hd4850 ( I already know it wont work someone might know how to make it work)

correct section.. but I'll rename the thread to better suit you. This is the most recent LawlessPPC distro, yes... but there are other distros with the updated 10.5.5 system (however this is easy enough to do from 10.5.4 with AMD Software Update from Zeph... also found in the forum). For phenoms... LawlessPPC is the way to go.
