after update , the hackintosh does not work with alc889a.
and it cant restart!
how can I fix it? I think some of my kexts are updated and who have updated and fixed kexts.
my system :
Gigabyte EP45-DS3R ,e8500 CPU

These kexts seems updated :
System.kext , IPFirewall.kext , IOPCIFamily.kext , IONDRVSupport.kext , IOGraphicsFamily.kext, AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext , ApplteIntelGMAX3100FB.kext.

I have 4 output and I noticed that 2 of them are used by itunes and others are used by skype.

Geez, do I keep getting off lucky or what? The past two OS updates have reportedly caused ALC889a issues, yet all I do is reinstall the Taruga patch and it comes back just fine for me.
So if the solution nexusmac posted doesn't fix the problem, try the Taruga patcher with an ALC889a dump log. You can PM me if you can't find it.;)
