I have been trying to install several distributions on this computer and have had no luck...
Two distro's left me with a blank screen where I would select my HDD or the partition to install Leopard onto, The other freezes at the gray apple screen with the loading ring frozen as well....(ALL of which are labeled for 'AMD')...

here is my info:

From these two posts it looks like you should be able to install but might have issues getting your graphics fully supported. Looks like iDeneb worked for them.

When you boot the install cd use these boot-flag -v (When you startup and see Darwin at the top of the screen it should give you a few seconds to press F8 and enter boot options. ) This will put you in verbose mode so that we can see where you are hanging.

If you manage to select a drive to install remember to choose "Customize". You should only select what your 100% sure will work. I would recommend choosing the bare minimum as it is much easier and rewarding to fix issues one by one after booting into OSX.

I believe your model has an AMD processor so you will need to select the AMD fix. I wouldnt worry about graphics options until after your in OSX as default graphics are better than not booting due to wrong drivers.
