Hello, i have a machine with:
motherboard: SUPERMICRO X7DCA-L MICRO
ATX/2 XEON DUAL-QUAD CORE /
6XSATA / RAID / DDR2 ECC REG
Processor: 2 x XEON QUAD CORE E5410
HARPERTOWN 2.33GHZ 771LGA
12MB CACHE FSB 1333MHZ BOX
Active
ram: DDR2 ECC-REG. 8GB 667MHZ ATP LOW
PROFILE (2X2GB)
Hard disk: 4 X Western Digital 640 GB SATA2 – 7200
RPM –16 MB buffer
graphic: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1 GB RAM

it is possible to install mac osx ? If yes which one? i have idenieb 10.5.5

any of the distros that support ICH9 should give you support. the Quad should be able to use vanilla but don't quote me on that yet. I'd give the voodoo kernel a try first.

far out! thats a monster of a computer! lol i reckon it would be as good as a Mac Pro if you can get it running on OS X :) i would defs love to see the xBench results of this beast :D all the best good luck

same here... just remember to watch out for the RAID controller. This could be a bum-biter for the system if not recognized right. disable it in the BIOS if any problems arise right away.
