Ok, so i burned iPC 10.5.6 on the dvd and was booting from in -v mode.
After a couple of seconds it comes up with this error:
IOPCCardBridge::Start Failed
I waited for 15 minutes to hope that it would continue, but it wont.
After some intensive search on google i didnt find the outcome.
So i ask here:
is there anyway to fix this?
My specs are in my Signature.:-d

Try booting with -v -x
[EDIT] Do you have any cards in your laptop's PCMCIA slot?

No i dont have anything in my PCMCIA slot.
I'll try to boot with -v -x tomorrow, going to sleep now for school and will try afterwards.

Ok, tried to boot with -v -x i did get passed it, it said something about my realtek 8139 was found(ethernet).
Anyway, it was now saying 'Waiting for root device'.
I hope it could be fixed.
Edit: tried the different boot options from the sticky thread here, only with the code:
'platfrom=ACPI -v' i end up with a black screen, for the rest its all the same as -v -x
I get the exact same error on my Dell Latitude D810. It's working with the iAktos release, it boots up and everything. But i tried the newest iPC, installed with natkos sleepkernel (got a Pentium M SSE2). But after install, when it boots up, even if i write "-v -x" i get "IOPCCARDBridge::start failed" and later Waiting for root device, and it stops there.
Is there a solution for this? My PC-card-slot is empty, i've tried disabling it in BIOS and it still returns the same error!
