Be sure that the acpi version in the Info.plist of ApplePS2Controller matches your current AppleACPIPlatform.kext version, also look in the Info.plist of ApplePS2Keyboard.kext for OSBundleRequired, set it to Root or Console.

I am having this same problem. I was able to install, but it doesn't recognize my laptop keyboard.

Fassl, can you please explain what you mean by your instructions? I don't see any ACPI version listed in the Info.plist of my ApplePS2Controller.kext.
My OSBundleRequired is set to Console. Would changing it to Root help?

There are at least 3 ApplePS2 kexts around. Try all of them.

When I boot off the DVD (iATKOS 10.5.5), the keyboard works fine. Is there anyway to copy kexts from the DVD onto the harddrive?

I had the same problem and also couldn't mount usb drives. When I installed the USBMassstorage patch which I had on my IPC 10.5.6 distro...everything started to work!

I could use and external keyboard before that. But not the laptop one

Hope this helps
