Hey guys,

Until last week, I had a perfect install of iPC 10.5.6 PPF v2 running on my machine and I got a power shortage which damaged my video card. Had to get a new one. I've now got a GeForce 9600GT 512MB card and I cannot figure out how to install graphics drivers for it in 10.5.6. My previous card worked well with full acceleration using an EFI string but that was was 9f9 drivers installed. Does anybody know what I should install and what method I should use to get the 9600GT full functional within 10.5.6?

Cheers!

There are 9600 drivers on the iPC dvd. You can try installing them using Pacifist.

Do you happen to know which package it is? Pcwiz told me to use the MacBook Latest Kexts package, but I can't find it on my iPC DVD. Any ideas what the filename is?

I think it's this one...

sorry don't know why it's so small. It's the last nvidia kext available i believe. The Macbook Pro kexts.

Why not just re-run the iPC installer? Just click customize, deselect EVERYTHING from being installed, and then select the driver for the 9600. That way you don't have to play with Pacifist etc

Oh, you do this by inserting the install disk into your working osx86 box, double click the install icon.
