hi there,

2 months ago i had kalway running, but it wasnt that stable :(
first of all im not that addicted to forum's and stuff. i think thats the cause i gaveup

but im stuck with a "feature" that calls himself Windows-Vista
thats the cause i want osx up and running on my dektop

thats why i call for advice which Osx86 is the best for my specifications:

Cpu : Intel quadcore q6600
Ram : 4gb ocz
Graphics : ATI 4870 (512mb)
Board : gigabyte ds3 something...

I don't see what your asking?
Are you asking what distro you should use?
And what was unstable about kalway that you didn't like?

hehe ;) yes im searching for a distro which works finde with quadcore (dont know if there are any issues with quadcores)

and jeah kalway ;0 i think it was more the less effort input but i thought there would be a better kernel cause i hated to reinstal not twice but 6 times to run it a bit stable

ive read myself a bit into forums and heard the problem with ati 48xx modules i dont know if im a bit outdated but they havent apeared yet. the next step i was thinking about "arent there any unix ati 48xx modules?" and the search results arent a s good as i was thinking ;8
maybe there is a nerd outside who can compile those drivers
