Hi all, have been trying to get iDeneb v1.3 (10.5.5) working on my Asus X59GL, but so far there has been no success after the installation. So I have decided to go back to the beginning and look at what distro, etc. I should be using...

The laptop's specs are:

CPU: Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T5800 2.0GHz (SSE2, SSE3)
MoBo: ASUS F5GL
Chipset: nVidia nForce 730i
Ethernet: nForce
RAM: 3GB DDR2 800MHz
WiFi: Atheros AR928x
Soundcard: Realtek HDA ALC663
Graphics: nVidia Geforce 8200M 256MB

I am running Leopard on a 20GB partition on the internal SATA drive, with Vista and Ubuntu running fine on another two partitions. I also use GRUB to load the OSs.

At a glance at the specs, would any of the more experienced members of the forum be able to recommend a different distro? Or the specific kexts/kernels that I should use in the install? Or is there just plainly no support for this spec?

Thanks in advance! :D
