does anyone have alc662 that doesn't break sleep/shutdown

Hopefully the title is self explanitary. Does any one have an appleHDA kext for alc662 that doesn't cause shutdown to fail after sleep, would be very greatful.
Board in question is gigabyte ga-g31m-s2l

Are you sure its the AppleHDA kext that's causing the problem on sleep?

I'm having the same problem, and can't find the fix or the cause of it!

i had a very similar problem with the alc890 chipset.
first not detected. played for a bit, detected and then every time i play a sound is crashed.

found the solution with voodoohda.kext
give it a shot, google, it's on rapidshare

see if it works for you, worked for me pretty well.

Yes I'm sure if you use azalia kext there are no problems
