So I downloaded and patched the iDeneb 10.5.5 Install to run on nForce chipsets and I got stuck at "still waiting for root device".
I'm using a Abit AN52V Motherboard with a AMD Athlon x2 4000 CPU I was wondering if someone could shed some like on how to get rid of this error either with another patch or something. I dont have the money to buy a new Motherboard right now either.
My Full system specs are
AMD Athlon x2 4000 2.1 GHZ (SSE3 Compatable)
Abit AN52V Motherboard nForce Chipset
160GB HDD
80GB HDD
6GB DDR2 Ram
Nvidia Geforce 8600GT Graphics Card
Broadcom 802.11G Wireless Adaptor
All help on helping me set this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I typed rd=disk0s1 and I got a kernel panic so I tried rd=disk1s1 -v and I also got "still waiting for root device.
Update: I'm going to download this ( http://www.infinitemac.com/f36/ipc-osx86-leopard-10-5-6-intel-amd-t1792/ ) and see if I have some better luck V_v but the download speed is HORRIBLE.
