Hi, I'm new to OS X86 and need some support, but first i'll tell my experiences if they can help others with this laptop.
First problem when I tried to install was that installers would not see my internal HD, no way for Kalyway, Ideneb or Leo4all to detect HD so I chose the alternative external USB install. Of all choices only Kalyway made a right install and boot after install, Ideneb would install but no booting after install, no matter the kernel I chose I got kernel panic or restart loop at the grey apple screen; and Leo4all install would freeze at some point.
With Kalyway installed and booting ok I need to tweak now a few things:
-CD/DVD drive not detected
-audio not wroking
-Ethernet or wifi not working
-display resolution fixed at 1024x768

My hardware info:
PC: notebook Acer Aspire 5520
OS: Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.6 [Kalyway] on external USB ST932032 0AS (300 GB) ]
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55 - 1800 MHz
Motherboard Name: Acer Aspire 5520
Motherboard Chipset: nForce 610M
RAM: 2 GB DDR2-667
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M
Audio Adapter: HD-Audio nVIDIA MCP67 [integrated]
Disk Drive: Western Digital WDC WD2500BEVS-22UST0 ATA Device
CD-DVD Drive: PIONEER DVD-RW DVRKD08RS ATA Device
Network: Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter / NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

Any clue?
