Hello,
I welcome and appreciate ANY and ALL help.
First time poster here. I have searched the forums and can't find a solution for the dreaded "still waiting for root device" error.
I have installed osx86 on several computers, both AMD and Intel. I have never had this problem...when I did, on an Intel machine, I changed the SATA compatibilty mode. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this on my Biostar MCP6PB M2+ Motherboard!!!!!!!!
I know, at least I think, that the fix to this issue lies within fixing something in the BIOS...but, what to change? My research has shown that SATA hard drives aren't correctly set up to work with osx86 unless configured correctly in the Bios.
I thank you so much...
Paul
