I currently have Zephyroth's 10.5.2 working flawlessly on my AMD machine (nforce ata, nforce lan, nvinject v52, alc883). However, I have installed iPC 10.5.6 a few times and never have got the video to work (Nvidia 8600gt). I have tried selecting the correct nvinject packages during install, and also unchecking them and trying to install nvinject v52 afterwords.
If anyone has any ideas, that would be great
thanks

I have a Geforce 8600GT 512MB card and when I installed using iPC 10.5.6, I only selected the package contained the latest kext. I didn't select any of the injectors. After it booted, I inserted the graphic string using EFI Studio and it worked just fine.

I tried EFI studio and I loaded the 8600gt 256 successfully. I rebooted and it worked great. However, after a second and third boot the system hangs and the display looks funny. Additionally, the mouse freezes and acts really weird.
Any thoughts
boot in safe mode. Try one of those paeched nvidia kexts from this site itself or 9f23...make sure that you delete all geforce files and NV* files before you install any of these packages....

That worked perfectly, thanks
