I'm trying to install iATKOS 5i but I got a stop sign on the apple logo

I tried the rd=disk thing nothing..

The stop sign is a kernel panic. First, tell us your system specs, and then try the XxX_10.5.6 image, this was working perfecly for me. It doesn't contain any additional languages, but they can be installed later.

Celeron D 3.06GHZ
1.25GB Memory
8400GS Nvidia card
250GB Seagate SATA
20GB Maxtor IDE(this where I'm planning to install)
ECS P4M890T-M (VER. 2)
I even tried unplugging the SATA leaving only the IDE

why will just keep on the apple logo page but din not run?

On startup you should be given the chance to enter some boot options. Use the boot option -v to boot in Verbose Mode as this will display useful information about the boot process instead of an Apple logo. You can usually post back with the last line it hangs on.
