which kext for this sound card. is it Azalia or Intel IDT ?

I am on IPC 10.5.6. & cannot get internal speakers & mic to work.
the keyboard controls almost work properly if I install the AppleAzaliaaudio.

I believe it's STAC9271. There's an installer on the iPC disk, or it should be easy to find a dump to use with HDA patcher.

I will give it a try. I would need to delete the HDAEnabler, AppleHDA & AZaliaAudio before I try this install of STAC9271

Yes, sorry about that. After more searching it looks like it's actually IDT 92HD71B7. At least that's what I think device id 76B2 is.

After proper cleanup of old HDA kexts, I installed AppleHDA.kext & HDAEnabler.kext based on thread you suggested.

Speakers /audio controls on keyboard are working without any issues. (Y)
