Well I just got a Twitter from apple about the new NVIDIA Ion desktop.
Now the first thing that caught my eye was ONLY $200??? That blew my mind.

Here are the highlights:


1.6GHz Intel Atom processor

9400M-based graphics

Play 1080p video at a full frame rate

Plays Call of Duty 4 or SimCity 4 with reasonable preformance.

supports as much as 4GB of memory, 250GB of hard drive space, and 6 USB peripherals

Curious to see if OSX86 will run on it ^_^

Even if it couldn't run OS X I'd be happy to throw Linux onto it. $200 is a real bargain! I'm loving these small form factor machines more and more.

I just wish one of these had a built in DVD then it would be perfect (I still have lots of DVDs for playback I need to use)

if MSI wind runs it, maybe this state of art will do as well :) Anyway, thanks for posting it, i think i`ll take a closer look at this one. ( its OMG cheap! )
