Using iPC Final with -x -v cpus=1 platform=x86pc
I HAD to use a USB keyboard and Mouse.
Using these customizations:
iPC Base
Voodoo Kernel
Nforce Chipset
Nvidia MCP67
Power Management Package
CPUS=1 Flag
The install took nearly 5 hours ( dont know why )
Afterwards, booted up without disc and used -v -f
Spotlight was running real slow
Added the harddrive Volume to the Privacy of Spotlight
Rebooted and now is super fast
The memory is read correctly and the SPU is read as an Intel Dual Core but correct speed.
Also the system restarts without a disc and without any switches.
All I need to do now is install the Nforce driver for the NIC and the drivers for the sound.
I also need to get the keyboard and mouse to work without the USB attached.
When I leave the system for 10 mins or so the mouse and keyboard arnt responding. When I press the power button one time the mouse and keyboard start working again. Beats me!
Last time I installed these drivers, the system would boot anymore though.
Any thoughts on these problems.
