i can only boot leopard using -x which puts me in safe mode. so I have no internet connection and I can't change my monitor resolution.
if i try to boot normally I get stuck at "Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50:43; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.2~1/Build/obj/RELEASE_I386" i hope someone can help me.

thank you

Thank you for your response.
I forgot about the specs. -x gets me into the system okay. but like I said I have no internet connection. in some other things are missing. I guess because I'm in safe mode.

Memory: 768 MB
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 XT

@Macone this kernel panic is a known issue, boot with -s and type this

mount -uw /

rm -r /system/library/extensions/Nvdaresman.kext
rm -r /system/library/extensions/geforce.kext

Please google is our friend :)

I have login crashes. I can boot up to the login screen, and login, then right before the finder menus and icons load i'm kicked back out to the login screen again. Does anyone else have this problem?

i did this

mount -uw /

rm -r /system/library/extensions/Nvdaresman.kext
rm -r /system/library/extensions/geforce.kext

But I still have the problem when i reboot. I type in "reboot" after I type all the rm stuff. but it did not do nothing new reboot. maybe I'm doing something wrong.
what should it say between "rm -r /system/library/extensions/Nvdaresman.kext" "rm -r /system/library/extensions/geforce.kext"

Then press ENTER to execute the command.

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext
Press ENTER to execute the command.

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/Ge*.kext
Press ENTER to execute the command.

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NV*kext
Press ENTER to execute the command.

exit

Reboot
