I wanted to start a poll of the cpu models we are using in the community. It's mainly because I'm using rather rare Opteron Server CPUs which may be different to consumer models and are perhaps 'forgotten' in some kexts or new kernel versions.
I could imagine that Athlon 64 FX cpus are also not often used.

AMD Turion 64X2 TL-52 on board here. Working with rather no problems - but as hot as most AMD Cpus i guess.
@added : using 10.5.6 right now. And SB450 as well.

It's depending on the OS, too. 10.5.6 is about 6°C hotter than 10.5.3 on the same machine.

For my Desktop PB Hacintosh, it contains a P4 2 GHz CPU.
For my Laptop, a Core 2 Duo T5550 @ 1.83 GHz.
All both working fine with Vanilla kernel, but I prefer Andy's :p

Hi, I'm using a VIA C7M Processor! :-d OSX runs so much faster on this platform than Windows, and by the way I'm using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on an Everex Stepnote NC1502.
