Hey Guy,
I have posted my plea for help on both thehotfix and InsanelyMac's forums and am yet to get an answer to my problem. I have a Sony Vaio VGN SZ230P with the following Specs:
Processor Intel Centrino Duo T2400 / 1.83 GHz
Multi-Core Technology Dual-Core
Data Bus Speed 667 MHz
Chipset Type Mobile Intel 945GM Express
Graphics Processor NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 / Intel GMA 950 TurboCache supporting 128MB
Wireless NIC Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies LTD R0083N0, 7/10/2006
SMBIOS Version 2.31
Total Physical Memory 2.00 GB
Graphics NVidia GeForce Go 7400 WDM
Network Card Marvell Yukon and Intel Wireless/Pro
Sound Card SigmaTel High Definition Codec
Keyboard & Mouse PS/2 Compatible

I have so far tried to install The Hotfixes ,Aitkos's and iBeneb's versions of OSX86 and am having the same problem. The DVD boots up and then freezes at the installation screen. I will allow me after I pound the enter key a few times to get as far as the welcome screen. After that my system freezes up completely. I can move the mouse and I can tab through the welcome screen menu, but all of the buttons and menu options are completely frozen. Also I can't even remove the disk from the drive as that is frozen too.
I would REALLY appreciate a solution to this problem.

THANK YOU!!!:D

Boot in verbose mode and find out where it is stuck.
(F8 on startup then issue -v on prompt)

@sheni7: Try switching the Mouse and/or Keyboard from PS/2 to USB if not already done so... then tell us the results.
