Problems:
I managed to run the installation setup with the vmx-file posted here. I can install MacOSX.
Though, I got 2 main problems that I cannot solve:

1) Reboot not possible / Harddrive not found
After the installation I got the following problems: I cannot reboot the system without leaving the iDeneb disc inside the cd drive. Otherwise VMware prompts the error: Operation System not found.
(For this reason I can also not boot in single mode since I cannot use a command prompt.)

2) Keyboard and mouse madness
When using the MacOSX the keyboard and mouse get made! The keyboard continues writing the same letter at random moments and at random keys. The mouse moves up menu items to the top one without that I move the device. This is very annoying.

iDeneb Patches / Customize setup:
If anybody could tell me what patches I have to use to make it working - that would be great.
The latest I used the following...

Vanilla 9.6.0 Kernel (default when nothing is selected)
ACPI Kext 10.5.6
PSFix for ACPI 10.5.6
Apple Azalia Audio
ICHx Fixed
Intel 82556 Series
BatteryManager
Apps

Here is a screenshot of all options available.

Thank you, aussenboarder

May be this is a silly question but I presume, you made this screenshot while installation. If so, how did you manage to get this shot?
I am on a way to install Hackintosh but before venturing, trying to get max. guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Hey aussenboarder,
Have you solved both problems you had with your installation? I'm installing ideneb 10.5.7 in my Lenovo R61 and I'm having the exactly same issues. Please let me know!!

Thanks!!

hey zipcode.
i ended up using the preinstalled osx in vmware. all i did was to download the vmware package 10.5.2. i had no more time to waste since all i wanted was to use xcode.
good luck and pls report on your work.
cheers, aussenboarder.
