Stumbled across this 9.7 voodoo based kernel here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=153414&st=350 scroll down to the link from moskivirit. Running fine right now on my AMD machine, but your mileage may vary. Don't forget to use a matching system.kext and seatbelt.kext so you don't have any dmg mounting issues.

Works great for me. I have 10.5.7 system970 & seatbelt kext (107.12) from iAtkos v7 on GA-MA770-DS3 & AMD64x2 5600+

What is this file included with the kernel:
/patch/voodoo_based-1228.12.14.diff

??

When I just replace mach_kernel my system wont boot.

Do I need to do something with the DIFF file mentioned above?

Btw here are 10.5.7 System and seatbelt kexts:
