ALC887 is not very common, you would need to patch AppleHDA yourself to get it supported (very difficult).
You can try with VoodooHDA (http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/), it would be easier.

Check the VoodooHDA forums, you would need a clean installation, no HDAEnabler, ALCInject, modded AppleHDA, etc., as VoodooHDA works on its own and independently or any other kexts.
