I'm trying to install iAtkos 5i on my 2x640gb WD Caviar black Raid0. I had 4 partitions, the 2 first have ntfs format and are primary, the third is unallocated and 4th is logical ntfs. When I look for the partitions at the disk utility, my Raid0 apears like 2 disk, both with 590gb(the real capacity) and the first appears parted like it is, but the unallocated partition that have 70GB only shows 36, and the other 640gb diks appears without format. I think the mac os installer is recognising both disk separated and not like raid0.

Surely you are right, OS X doesnt work with most motherboard fake RAID arrays, if thats what you are using you cant install it there.

I have a mobo Gigabyte p35c ds3r. Im running the raid with the Intel ich8r chipset, I think its possible to run it with the gigabyte raid chipset. Might it work?If not: If I install it on a single drive it will be possible to create a dual boot with vista installed on the raid0?

Thanks.
