hi,
just after i managed to install system that's actually 100% works, all of a sudden i can't pair my BT keyboards and mice after the last reboot.
when i just installed mac os x 10.5.6 with iPC latest dvd, everything worked fine, i didn't even have to manualy pair my KB - it just worked on it's own. afterwards i upgraded to 10.5.7,rebooted, restored kexts and repaired permisions, everything worked as well. but then i rebooted again KB and mice refuse to connect: BT manager do find all devices, and it even shows that it did paired with them, but then it asks to type a passkey + enter on the KB - after a while it says "the pairing attempt was unsucesfull".
i've seen some threads regarding the same issiu, with no solutions, though i do remember someone suggested to instal SMBIOS or something, but i don't know wich one to install from iPC dvd (or download from the net - i don't care) or how to do it neither, and also i wonder: is it safe??? am i installing a new BIOS? or is it just some kind of enablers ??
i'd be glad to hear any suggestions
thanks in advance
p.s. my BT adapter is Edimax USB EB-DGC2 (iam not sure if it's the model number - anyway i never liked it much coz it was a pain to find drivers for this one back in windows) i also baught some other cheap BT adapter from logitech LVT-010 but it doesn't work either. anyway it's clearly not the adapter problem, i just gave it a try to elliminate options...
i also tryed to reconfigure usb settings in bios - came up with changing PCE/PnP Settings - Plug & Play O/S to Yes - this way BT didn't work at all...
I've been thinking of trying to pair thrue command line as i did once on Ubuntu (well, i've been asisted by a person who knows how to use command line - me myself is very new to it, though iam getting acustomized to it...)...just a thought...i'll look up the net on how to do it, but if someone already knows how to , i'd be glad if you'd post it here...
