So I've done the research and I'll be needing to download the iPC OSx86 10.5.6 PPF5 Final release since it works with my motherboard. I'll be wanting to use OSX for internet browsing, downloading, movies & music. I'd also like to customize as much of the osx/applications as I can, so I'll be trying to do that as well. I'm wondering if my system is going to give me any hiccups with the stuff I'd like to do. This is what I'm working with:

motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4
cpu: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200
memory: 2GB Corsair
sound: AC97
video: ATI Radeon X800 XL

Thanks for any info you can toss my way

I'd say that it's impossible to guess if it'll be stable or not. Generally - with newest kernel version, stability issues are "solved". Still, you might encounter some problems - but well, you have to try it to know. There are many kexts, many distros, and many kernel versions to try if others make problems. Try iPC Final or XXX 10.5.6 final, those are the latest and probably support the most hardware of all distros ( probably - not sure ). Trying is the only way to be sure - and to fix any problems that might show up.

Check this wiki (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) (sorry InfiniteMac, but it's just a list, right?) for compatibility with your hardware. Like Taisto said, you have to try. If you don't have any time to put into this though, then I don't think that it's for you. That being said post back to us if you have any results :)
