my pc configuration is
intel p4 ht 3ghzprocessor
intel d915gav motherboard
1 gb ram
500gb wd hdd
i installed iatkos 7i without any errors.after installing when i boot, it stops at the apple logo.i tried installing 2 time but stays same... anyone please help me,....

Boot with -v. What is the last line you see before it freezes?

To be more clear, (I'm assuming you have chameleon 2 - this is the default for iATKOS v7) you need to press any key at the bootloader screen (the screen with the progress bar). Then you need to select your hard drive and press TAB. Now type "-v" and press ENTER. Then tell us what the last few lines of all the text that appears is.

the loading freezes at "still Waiting for root device"

thank you for the link. the #2 solution worked for me. can you help me to make it a permenant option at boot time????
