Disclaimer: I'm new to the osx86 scene, and macs in general, so bear with me. I'm trying to install iATKOS v5 on the following computer:

Geforce GA-73PVM-S2H (GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i Chipset)
Intel Quad Core Q9550 processor
Some random OCZ memory (4gb)
SATA hard drive

I get nothing but hangs during the installation, and at random points. I've been getting hangs at the gray apple screen, where either the circle will stop spinning, or the install will say I need to reboot; I get hangs at the screen afterwards, where the computer is preparing for osx installation (the spinning candycane bar will stop), or I get hangs when trying to use disk utility. That's as far as I've gone. It seems random as to where it will hang up. I've burned two install disks at a very slow speed using PowerISO and Alcohol 120%. Maybe someone can give me some direction as to what I might need to do?

You have modern hardware so dont even wast your time with that version. iAtkos v7 is out. It has the latest software update(10.5.7) from apple. But if you want to install that version try checking the MD5(code used to check that you have download the file correctly) of the file(.iso file). A good program(assuming your using windows) is MD5 checker. Google it. The code of your downloaded file must match the code i posted below. If the code doesnt match then you didnt download a usable file.

MD5 iATKOS_5i.iso = 7219c67e9d770cab0d9e54dcd275cf4e

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
GOOD LUCK
