okay so i must be over looking something...i just installed iAtkos v7 and after installing and switching to charmeleon 2 boot loader on the iAtkos v7 side and redoing the mbr for vista so i can get into vista and it shows the mac one and it loads into it but then once it loads it will error really quick i cannot see what it says and auto reboots....every time i have tried like 5 times to get into it

so i got onto easybcd and checked to make sure no errors and redid the dual boot and it seems okay but no cigar so to speak...

should i just retry and install it all??? i believe i might be using the vanilla kernel... i didn't customize the install much just let it do it's thing

system specs:

amd athlon x2 6400+ black edition

gigabyte ga-m59slis-s5

awards bios version : f9c

bfg geforce 9600gt oc2 (g94)

killer k1 nic (disabled the onboard nic)

western digital cavier black 500gb 32mb cahce (using 100gb for iatkos)

using 4gb (two 2x1gb xms2 6400c4 800mhz)

any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated...

As you are using an AMD processor, you need to install the voodoo kernel else you will get an instant reboot as you describe.

With these prepatched install dvds, you should choose the correct drivers for your hardware. You can't just hit install and hope for the best, especially on AMD.
