Hi there. installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard Build_10A380_UserDVD. Have some problems i cant fix alone, so i need some help from you guys!

1: the install works fine.
2: Installed some kexts

dsmos.kext
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
OpenHaltRestart.kext
PlatformUUID.kext (changed the UUID).

ATI Radeon HD 2600XT Pcie 10.5.6 - 10.5.x.pkg // For my GFX card.

3: Installed boot file + PC EFI.

4: reboot into the new install with -v
5: The screen comes up, fill in the username, name ++ you know.. when the login window cames up, typing the password then enter.. the screens just flicker, then the login window cames up again..

What is wrong!?

Computer Hardware:

MotherBoard: Gigabyte EP45-DS3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Quad
Mem: 8GB DDR2 PC 800mhz Corsair.
GFX: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 512MB

if some one know what the problem is, need some help.

Thanks!

Unless someone has found a solution Snow Leopard does not appear to work correctly with ATI cards on Hacked Systems yet. I haven't read a single report of success with an ATI card.

If you have access to an Nvidia card I would try that.

Does anyone else have any advice to offer?

What works for me is putting gfx into dsdt/or use injector
and deleting ATIRadeonX2000.kext.

Card works at native res 1920x1080 but no QE/CI.:(
Still very usable.
