Hi, folks!
I have some question: I am currently onto OS X 10.5.5 (installed via "iAtkos v4 10.5.4") and like to update to 10.5.6 or maybe 10.5.7
I got my eyes onto this guide (http://ihackintosh.blogspot.com/2008/12/must-know-before-updating-osx86-from.html) - there is the instruction to install PC_Efi v9 before updating to avoid getting in trouble with AppleRTC.kext
My problem is that I can run Leopard only by using the normal Darwin x86 Bootloader in combination with a Kernel prepared by ToH.
Darwin Efi and other Kernels (I tried a lot: Voodoo, Modbin, Kabyl, sleep and so on) all did'nt work for me - my system just used to reboot immediately after loading the Kernel.
Just the combination above worked flawless.
Currently I am on Stage XNU 9.4.0 (ToH based Kernel) which works fine, also.
So my main question: Is it realy necessary to have PC_Efi or Chameleon to run 10.5.6 or higher?
Thanks!
