I'm currently rebuilding the Iportable 10.5.4 to work on amd machine's
for you that don't know what iportable is. Iportable is working leopard image (10.5.4) that fits on on a 8 GB usb stick. there is no installation you just put the backup on the usb stick and it works. well thats the idea. It has loads of utils repair programs ect ect . Bad thing is its intel only.
the conversion it's almost complete. I got almost all the amd network , chipset, kernels and drivers onboard there is just one thing left.

SB600/700 support.
i downloaded the driver wopping 13 MB
its a ioatafamily.kext with in the plugin section a few kext files that i have newer version from. my question if i put this file on my image what would happen? second iknow i know its always better to put your kext files in the plugin section is If I put my JMicronATA.kext appleVIAATA.kext AppleNForceATA.kext AppleATIATA.kext in the plug in section of the modded ioatafamily.kext will this work?
Or sould i just ad this file to the installation options for once your booted from the usb stick/drive . select this package to get your drives working
