As sound is the only missing thing to get a fully working os x on my Notebook the only way to get some sound out of it is by installing voodoohda!
But the sound is totally distorted only if i move the mouse the sound gets clearer.
I searched a lot and found out that it could be somehow cpu related and added idlehalt=0 as Kernel Flags to my boot.plist.
This didnt work for me and so i wanted to ask if anyone had the same problem and found a solution?
Any help would be greatly apreciated!

I had a similar problem. Only when move the mouse the soud get's clear.

I tryed all type of driver for my adi200b, but the problem never desapeared.:(

One day tried to disabled the CPU half state (C1E), and the problem disapeared:).

Your problem must be the same. I hope that your notebook has this option in BIOS (I have a desktop). I donīt know other way to disable C1E

I have read many problems like yours and I guess this can help you.

Into the midi audio setup (application-utilities-audio midi setup) there are an option for configure the output (audio output) change the values of 2ch 24 bits to 2ch 16 bit.
