After installing the new update I have a new issue with permissions.

Translation from above: Warning: SUID-file 'System/Lib...gent' is modified and will not be repaired.

I'm still googling for a solution but if you guys have any ideas then I'm all ears.

If you ony mean that SUID Warning - ist no problem real !
Also happens on real Macs and is only an information about a change.

Alright, I figured that much, thx for the info lad.

Funny though now that I have the permissions all set with my install I get a new one with update :)

Thats often when installing new system software (ARD is such).
At the next OS X update from apple (as every time) that SUID will be corrected, so that after 10.5.9 OS X will not complain that.

That would be 10.6.1 in my case ;)

I haven't checked my Leopard install yet.
